PROMOTION: ⌨️ Retro Style Meets Modern Gaming — Kisnt KN85 Wireless Mechanical Keyboard 🎮

My First Keyboard Hunt in Berlin

Okay, so things are… settling in here in Berlin. It’s amazing, honestly, but also a total whirlwind. I moved here six months ago for my job as a junior designer at a small agency – lots of cool projects, but definitely a steep learning curve. I’m living in Neukölln now, which is brilliant – so much energy and amazing street food. But let’s be honest, I’m spending a lot of time staring at my laptop. That’s why I’ve been obsessing over keyboards lately.

Hallo! The Keyboard Conversation

It all started with Lena, a colleague from work. We were grabbing coffee at that place near the Hauptbahnhof – “Café der Reserve,” it’s good – and she was talking about this new keyboard, the Kisnt KN85. She’d seen it online and said, “Hallo! Hast du schon den neuen Kisnt KN85 Keyboard gesehen?” (Hello! Have you seen the new Kisnt KN85 keyboard?).

I said, “Ja, ich habe ein bisschen darüber gelesen. Sieht ja ganz cool aus, der Retro-Look mit mechanischen Tasten.” (Yeah, I’ve read a little about it. It looks pretty cool, the retro look with mechanical keys.) It actually looks pretty slick – a bit like something straight out of a 90s game. Then she said, “Tatsächlich! Ich bin gerade dabei, mir eins auf Amazon zu bestellen.” (Actually! I’m just ordering one on Amazon.)

I was immediately intrigued. I’ve always thought mechanical keyboards were way cooler than the flat ones I’ve used before. “Echt? Ich überlege auch, mir eins zuzulegen.” (Really? I’m also considering buying one.) Lena asked, “Was hat dich denn überzeugt?” (What convinced you?)

The Pull of the Keys

I told her, “Naja, die Kabellos-Verbindung und die lange Akkulaufzeit finde ich gut. Und der Preis ist auch nicht schlecht.” (Well, the wireless connection and the long battery life are good. And the price isn’t bad.) I’ve been researching them, and honestly, the idea of not having a cable trailing everywhere is amazing. Plus, I spend hours coding, so a good keyboard is essential. I also saw this speaker, the SoundCore, and it looked really cool.

(I’ve read that the SoundCore Bluetooth Speaker is also a good option if you want to listen to music – have you seen it?)

The SoundCore Speaker – A Good Idea?

I checked it out – it’s here: [Read More It does look really good – sleek black, nice big buttons. And the reviews are mostly saying it sounds great.

(I think I really need a new keyboard now. I play a lot, and a good keyboard makes a big difference.) It’s seriously important for my workflow.

The Decision (For Now)

I said, “Definitiv! Aber der KN85 soll ja auch sehr gut sein für Gaming.” (Definitely! But the KN85 is also supposed to be very good for gaming.) I’m thinking about getting into some strategy games – maybe some Civilization. I even considered getting the SoundCore speaker to pair with it – imagine, blasting some epic music while I’m conquering the world!

I told her, “Vielleicht sollte ich mir auch den Speaker zulegen, um meine Gaming-Sessions zu genießen.” (Maybe I should also get the speaker to enjoy my gaming sessions.) She suggested, “Gute Idee! Ich schaue mir jetzt noch ein paar mehr Testberichte an, bevor ich endgültig entscheide.” (Good idea! I’m going to look at some more test reviews before I make a final decision.)

Then, the best thing happened. “Mach das! Ich bin gespannt, was du dir für ein Keyboard ausgesucht hast.” (Do that! I’m curious what keyboard you’ve chosen.) I told her, “Ich habe mich für das Kisnt KN85 entschieden! Es scheint wirklich gut zu sein.” (I’ve chosen the Kisnt KN85! It seems really good.)

She replied, “Super! Ich schaue mal, ob ich mich auch dazu überzeuge.” (Great! I’ll take a look and see if I can be convinced too.) I’m definitely going to read a few more reviews. It’s a big purchase, but a worthwhile one, I think. Let’s see if I can talk Lena into it!
